Pippa takes pictures of her murderer
Italian artist Pippa Bacca, who was first raped and then murdered, turned out to have photographed all of the drivers of the cars she got into. Among these photographs of the drivers is one of the murderer Murat Karataş.

Italian artist Pippa Bacca, who took photographs of the drivers of the cars that picked her up on her route, also took a photograph of her murderer Murat Karataş.
Pippa Bacca had started her tour for world peace from Milan to Israel wearing a white wedding dress. Pippa took photographs along the way of the drivers of the cars she hitched rides on. Bacca also photographed Murat Karataş, the driver who raped and murdered her. The police seized the camera in Murat Karataş's house and started an investigation into the photographs.
Pippa's sister, Antonietta Pasqualino, said that her sister had been to Turkey before and she had been very impressed by the country. Pasqualino said: "she had been talking about Turkey a lot; she was so impressed." |
