Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip had the chance to visit Ankara, Bursa and Istanbul during their visit and they went to shopping in these cities. In Ankara, Prince Philip bought four scarves as a present to the queen but forgot the pay the price. The store executive communicated the situation to the British embassy and Prince Philip's payment checks arrived; but the bank put one month waiting term as the check is foreign. Besides the store executive found out a required payment of 100 YTL to turn it into cash.
