No civilian targets hit
The General Staff has announced that on the seventh day of the operation the total number of terrorists killed has reached 237. It was stated that no civilian targets were hit during the operation.

The General Staff announced that seven terrorists were killed on the seventh day of the operation, bringing the total number of PKK members killed to 237. The announcement stated; "our planes have killed a terrorist group entering the region for reinforcement." According to the information received from the region, a double buffer zone was formed at the connecting points between the Zap region and Kandil and Turkey. Some Kurdish resources stated that Turkey's aim is to form a 'collective security region'; however, the control of the region will be given to the US and Iraqi forces later. |
