Ankara is discussing the resurfacing of accusations that Kılıç has worked in publication for the İBDA-C organization, intending to exhaust him into dropping the AK Party banning case in order to bring in Paksüt in his place. Ankara is witnessing increasing tension due to the action to ban the AK Party. According to the claim, the team, which opened the case to ban the AK Party is now pushing the Chairman of the Constitutional Court, Haşim Kılıç, to resign or at least to drop the case. If Kılıç withdraws from the case due to the surfaced accusations, Vice Chairman Osman Paksüt will replace him. The source of the accusations on Kılıç is the Aydınlık Journal, primarily owned and managed by those taken into custody in the Ergenekon case. Last week, the magazine claimed that Haşim Kılıç worked as a representative, in 1975 and 1976 for "Gölge magazine" which is a publication of the İBDA-C organization. |
