The chairman of TESEV (Turkish Economic and Social Studies Foundation), Can Paker, said: "it is not a product of serious intelligence. The connections are written one after another as if they are all connected in a web." Turkey was shaken by a memorandum list last week. The topic of the memorandum, which was submitted to the second chief of the general staff in March, 2006 is the activities of non-governmental organizations led by the USA and EU and the measures to be taken against them." The memorandum contained certain statements about Soros. Referring to George Soros, Paker said: "Soros has two dimensions, one is a businessman and a speculator the second is that he believes in the 'Open Society' world view and spends money on realizing his ideals. As far as I understand from this memorandum, there are relations connecting the US House of Representatives. However, Soros has spent $15 million to have Bush step down. He spends around $600-700 million a year just for the pursuit of his 'Open Society' ideals." |
