The hotel mentioned in the investigation

Yavuz Donat wrote about the background of meetings at Patalya hotel mentioned in the investigation on Ergenekon case.

Former ministers, deputies, retired generals and professors used to attend the meetings at Kent Hotel in Ankara. The figures such as Kamran İnan, Ufuk Söylemez, Hurşit Tolon and Yaşar Okuyan were also attending these meetings.

Mustafa Balbay spoke on television after the interrogation and told about the questions directed to him. Balbay was asked about the meetings at Patalya.

The parliament used to have a body called "dialog group" before AK Party came to rule. Deputies from different political parties came together to discuss the status of the country. They interchanged ideas. Kamran İnan was one of the senior member of this group. After the crisis, AK Party came to rule as some parties could not survive the hard time. Dialog group started to get together outside the parliament. The new location for the meeting became Kent Hotel. Former ministers, deputies, retired generals and professors used to attend the meetins at Kent Hotel in Ankara. The figures such as Kamran İnan, Ufuk Söylemez, Hurşit Tolon and Yaşar Okuyan were also attending these meetings.
