TURKEY ADAPTS TO 3G FAST AND SURPASSES EUROPEAN AVERAGES

Thirty-one percent of cellular service subscribers are now using 3G. As of the first quarter of last year in Turkey, there were 8.7 3G subscribers, that figure went up to 19.4 by the fourth quarter.

According to a '2010 Market Data Report' prepared by the Information Technology and Communication Council. The number of 3G subscribers in Europe is at 30 percent on average, while Finland has the highest number of subscribers at 72 percent.
