CARPET EXPORT TARGET SET AT FIVE BILLION DOLLARS

With all the interest received by exporters who have taken on a record 18,000 square meters display at the , a revision has been made on the 2023 target of 3.5 billion dollars in exports, bringing the figure up to five billion dollars.

(İHİB) , "Our increase in exports has not been lower than 25 percent over the past three years. We had foreseen a seven to eight percent increase annually. However, with these results, we have decided to revise our previously cautious target for 2023."

With 151 Turkish firms representing at the , out of the 60 countries that participated Turkey has broken a record by having the largest display area with 18,000 square meters devoted solely to exporting firms.
