45,000 TURKISH EXPORTERS OPEN UP TO THE WORLD

The ‘Buy from Turkey’ shopping website, the result of collaboration between Alibaba.com, the Ministry of Economy and TİM, aims to bring forth 45,000 SME exporters into the international arena. In an effort to ensure that every product produced in Turkey is purchasable from different countries, the Ministry of Economy and Turkey’s Exporters Assembly (TİM) have joined forces in order to establish a sales outlet in the virtual community. With 200,000 liras set aside from Turkey’s promotional budget, the ‘Buy from Turkey’ website, which will go into effect in June, will provide the names, contact and product information for 45,000 exporters.
