Foreign Affairs Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu has penned signed a proposal for Karman and her family to be granted Turkish citizenship.
Davutoğlu and Karman also paid a visit to the Yenimahalle State Hospital where approximately 30 Yemenis are receiving treatment. Davutoğlu and Karman paid special attention to each patient. Karmen commented on her fellow nationals by stating, "There is a great different between these brothers we visit here from when they were in Yemen. I can't believe they are smiling.'
