Prime Minister Erdoğan spoke out on the i administration’s tourism boycott on Turkey.

President commented on a potential tourism boycott directed towards Turkey by stating that the economy would not be affected. "We have no need for i tourists."

Speaking to Israel's Maariv newspaper, Erdogan responded to the Israeli administration which is threatening to implement a tourism boycott on Turkey, by stating, "We have no need for Israeli tourists. Last year, 31 million tourists visited our country. A tourism boycott on Turkey would not affect our economy."

When asked what steps are needed in order to repair Turkish-Israeli relations, Erdoğan stated, "Israel needs to take three steps in order to repair Turkish-Israeli relations. The first step, is apologizing for the ship. The second step is paying compensation to the families of those killed on the aid flotilla. The third step would be for Israel to lift the blockade on Gaza."

On Match 13th, Israel's Counter Terrorism Department issued a warning to Israel citizens regarding travelling to Turkey.
