Losing 4-0 to Dinamo Kiev last night, Beşiktaş has closed the door on the UEFA Europa League in the second round. Hosting the first leg in Istanbul, Beşiktaş lost to Dinamo Kiev by 1-4. Last night, hosts Dinamo Kiev scored four goals to zero, bringing the aggregate to 8-1, which meant the end for Beşiktaş and their elimination from the UEFA Europe League.

On Germany's Sky television channel Schuster became the butt of a joke as the speaker sent him a conciliatory 'raki' and stated after the fourth goal last night, "I have now officially stopped commenting on Beşiktaş's defense"
