TOURISM GIANTS CONVENE IN ISTANBUL CATHIC

The CATHIC conference, which has brought together 300 tourism industry investors from Central Asia, continues in Istanbul until February 9th.
The Central Asian Hotel Investment Conference or CATHIC, which brings together Central Asia's most significant tourism investors and operators, is being held in Istanbul for the first time. During the conference, a proposal will be made for Turkey to have an investment stock in tourism. In addition to Turkey, investment opportunities for a number of regions in Central Asia will also be discussed.
During the conference held between February 7th and 9th at the Ceylan InterContinental Istanbul hotel, a number of prominent hotel groups with an already increasing presence in Turkey such as the Hilton, Starwood, Rezidor and Accor hotel chains as well as groups seeking out new investment opportunities including Jumeirah, Orient Express and Wyndam will be in attendance.
