GOLF GREATS CONVENE IN BELEK

Belek, which even in the off season manages one million overnight stays, reaps approximately two million Euros in tourism revenue from every golf course the district hosts. With a total of 14 golf courses, Belek reaps in 28 million Euros annually in tourism revenue. With the prestigious golf industry event which kicked off today, Turkish tourism operators are aiming to increase this figure to 100 million Euros. Held in Turkey for the first time ever, the fair is anticipated to host over 1,400 delegates from 350 golf tour operators from 67 different countries.
