Prime Minister recently made a surprising telephone call to United States President to discuss the developments in .

According to the information obtained, Erdoğan was the one to request the call. The conversation, which lasted approximately 50 minutes, first focused on and involved both parties sharing their views on the developments.

The two leaders also discussed the tension in Syria as well as the problems faced in the region. Both leaders reiterated their determination to put an end to bloodshed in Libya. Meanwhile, sources say that Obama's recent reference to the events which transpired in 1915 was not discussed over the phone.
